| so....it would be a good idea to update because i haven't in more than a month (!) my apologies, xangstas, but i have found it quite difficult to convey my true feelings via the internet. i much prefer my own journal.
i have not died. in fact, i'm very much alive... lots has happen in the past month..
--god- blessings flow. im so thankful. i am continuing the devo book i bought for lent. good stuff.
--school- pretty much my life. next week is exam week, then finito. (holler)
--friends- hard to believe shortly i will not see the people i lived with for the past year. weird.
--camp- the time is drawing near!!! so excited to be serving again this summer. woot.
--music- i have started to listen to the cranberries. yessssss.
--working out- the "all about abs" class i attending at the rec twice a week for this semester had no bearing whatsoever on my flabby self. dang.
--change. i do not deal well with change and a lot is headed my way. just deal.
so that's everything and nothing at all.

| Wonderful Savior My heart belongs to Thee I will remember always the blood You shed for me Wonderful Savior My heart will know Your worth So I will embrace You always as I walk this earth
Chorus: Be blessed, be loved, be lifted high Be treasured here Be glorified I owe my life to You my Lord Here I am....
Beautiful Jesus How may I bless Your heart? Knees to the earth I bow down to everything You are Beautiful Jesus You are my only worth So let me embrace You always as I walk this earth
Watermark...One of my new favorites. They were at the Beth Moore conference in Chicago. Christy's worship is so sincere; it was amazing.
This song is beautiful. Christy told us a story of how she and her husband wrote and performed the song at huge conference in a Texas field. It had rained the night before, but as she looked at the crowd during the song, everyone-- thousands-- were on their knees, praising our Lord. Wow.
It made me think: am I willing to get "muddy" for the sake of Christ? So often, we seek soley comfort. He is and should be a refuge, but He also gives us harder and higher callings. I want to be at the point where I say, "Here I am" with no reservations. To daily follow. My knees, willing to be muddy, humbly on the ground, delighted to serve my God.
I encourage you to take time today. Get alone. Turn down the lights. Bring your Bible, but most importantly, bring your heart. Talk to God.

P.S. Swing Dancing is tomorrow night at 8 at Noiz on E. Bowery for $6. Please come, it will be so much fun. Any questions, call me. | | |
